  • Develop and Execute Financial Strategies: Design and implement financial strategies that align with the organisation's objectives and long-term vision.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes to ensure accurate financial planning and decision-making.
  • Accounts Payable Oversight: Supervise accounts payable functions to guarantee the timely and accurate processing of invoices, maintaining strong vendor relationships.
  • Cost Management: Monitor and control organisational costs to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and deliver comprehensive financial reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and actionable insights.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with financial regulations, standards, and best practices, including financial accounting protocols.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and develop the finance team through effective induction, performance objectives, and regular appraisals to foster growth and excellence.
  • Process Audits and Improvement: Conduct regular audits of financial processes, identifying opportunities for optimisation and implementing necessary improvements.
  • Inventory Management: Establish an effective inventory control system to manage stock levels and provide accurate monthly cost-of-sales data.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with private medical insurers, managing contracts and resolving service or patient-related queries directly or through delegation.
  • Procurement and Negotiation: Negotiate advantageous terms with suppliers, providers, property owners, and subcontractors to maximise profitability and cash flow, and implement streamlined procurement processes.
