This reputable, exciting organisation based in central Guildford is looking for a Part Time Finance Manager to join their team. You will be joining a vibrant business that offers a great working environment as well as a varied finance role. You will be required to work roughly 24 hours per week, ideally over 4 days, and there is flexibility on start times. Part Time Finance Manager - About The Role

In this role you will be working within a finance team of 4 and will be reporting into the Director of Finance. You will be supporting with the daily running of the finance function and act as the number 2 within finance.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Supporting with the preparation of management accounts, up to trial balance
  • Overseeing the daily running of the finance function and ensuring it is running at full efficiency
  • Preparation of weekly supplier payment runs, ensuring necessary checks have been completed
  • Regular review of outstanding debtors and credit control processes to ensure receipt of funds due
  • Complete weekly and monthly reconciliations to ensure than any errors are highlighted promptly and resolved appropriately
  • Assist with the annual budget preparation
  • Support budget holders by responding to queries and by providing relevant information
  • Assisting the FD with year-end routines
  • Supporting within other areas of the finance function when required

The successful Part Time Finance Manager will have/be:

  • Previous experience in a similar position
  • Strong all-round accounting experience
  • QBE or part qualified candidates will be considered
  • Experience in a not for profit/charity industry would be advantageous
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
