Role

Nigel James Associates is working with a leading national Professional Services client who are seeking a driven and ambitious Private Client Tax Assistant Manager.

The role is based in Guildford and Hybrid working is available.

As a Private Client Tax Assistant Manager, you would be the first point of contact for a portfolio of clients and will work closely with your colleagues to the deliver annual tax compliance work and identify planning opportunities.

Key responsibilities:

  • Preparing Tax returns for a portfolio of clients including partners, traders, sole-traders, HNWIs, non-UK domiciliaries, non-UK residents, and partnerships.
  • Ensuring administration of the portfolio is completed including all aspects of accounts, compliance, tax returns and tax computations.
  • Identify planning opportunities and preparation of reports for clients.
  • Management of WIP and client billing.

Requirements

  • ACA / ATT / CTA or equivalent qualification.
  • Good knowledge of personal tax compliance and ideally some exposure to planning/advisory work.
  • Experience gained within a professional services firm.
