Client Onboarding Executive

Have you got experience with Client Onboarding in the legal or banking industry? Do you have experience conducting Client due diligence and anti-money laundering checks?

Location: Central Guildford

£28,000-£30,000 + Benefits: 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays, health and group life insurance, contributory pension scheme, discretionary incentive bonus, possibility of for home working after probation & so much more!!

Overview:

Our client, a reputable organisation in the legal services sector, due to growth they are currently looking for a Client Onboarding Executive to become an integral part of their vibrant team.

This is an exciting opportunity to ensure clients experience a smooth and compliant on-boarding journey while adhering to essential due diligence and anti-money laundering regulations.

Daily duties include:

  • Ensure client documentation is accurate and kept up-to-date.
  • Investigate client backgrounds, business activities, and ownership structures meticulously.
  • Identify and escalate high-risk or suspicious profiles to the AML compliance team promptly.
  • Collaborate with the Residential Property team to streamline the client onboarding process effectively.
  • Vigilantly monitor transactions and report any unusual activity to the AML team.
  • Stay informed about evolving AML regulations and apply necessary updates in the onboarding process.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients and guide them through CDD and AML requirements skillfully.
  • Maintain accurate records of all CDD and AML activities for audits and reporting.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on compliance for senior management.

Skills/ Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in client on-boarding, CDD, and AML, particularly within the legal or banking industry.
  • An analytical mindset with the capability to resolve complex legal issues effectively.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex legal concepts clearly.
  • Familiarity with Practise Evolve or similar practise management systems is advantageous.
