Highly successful FTSE 250 Group require ACA or ACCA qualified individual, with a proven track record in either Audit or Accountancy, for a newly created Group Accountant position, that has arisen due to continued expansion.
About the role
Reporting to the Group Finance Manager the Group Accountant will undertake a varied and challenging role focussing on Group Consolidated Accounting & Reporting,Technical IFRS Accounting support and assisting with the Annual Group Audit. Key duties include:
- Group consolidated accounting for across a multitude of corporate entities
- Monthly financial reporting including P & L, balance sheet and cashflow
- Integration of newly acquired entities into the consolidated total
- Preparing group monthly management accounts for board review
- Resolving group accounting matters such as acquisitions, goodwill impairment test and new accounting standards
- Ensuring the company meet all relevantIFRSstandards
- Managing the review and completion of all UK statutory accounts
- WeeklyFlash Reporting and Quarterly bank reporting
About You
- You will be ACA or ACCA Qualified with a proven audit background ideally gained within a Top 10 Accounting Firm
- Applicants will have gained audit experience within a PLC environment and have a good knowledge ofIFRS
- The successful candidate will ideally have gained exposure within a Group environment and have knowledge of consolidation systems
