Hours: Monday - Friday (9:00am-5:30pm )

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum

Overview:

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity to join a leading software company based in Guildford.

As the project Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and managing projects related to financial systems and software within our clients' organisations.

You will be collaborating with various stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables, as-well as coordinating all project activities to ensure successful execution. These systems may include Oracle NetSuite and Oracle Fusion ERP and Oracle Enterprise Performance Management.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and success criteria
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets
  • Monitor project progress and identify and mitigate risks and issues
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Coordinate the implementation of financial software and systems.
  • Collaborate with IT and finance teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Conduct user training and provide ongoing support.
  • Identify opportunities to optimise financial processes through system enhancements.
  • Gather and analyse data to support process improvement initiatives.
  • Recommend and implement changes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and change logs.
  • Prepare and present regular project updates to stakeholders.
  • Conduct quality assurance testing to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues.
  • Ensure financial systems comply with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Implement security measures to protect sensitive financial data.
  • Collaborate with Oracle sales and other and third-party service providers to support system maintenance and upgrade

Skills/ Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
  • Proven experience in financial systems management and project coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of financial processes and software (e.g., ERP systems).
  • Excellent project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with cross-functional departments.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
  • Experience with Oracle NetSuite, Oracle Fusion ERP, or Oracle Enterprise Performance Management. (Desired)
