Location: Guildford - Free Parking

Hours: Monday - Friday (9am -5:30pm )

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum

Overview:

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled Project Coordinator to join a leading software company based in Guildford. This is a 9-month fixed-term contract to support with a maternity cover.

The role will be responsible for overseeing and managing projects related to financial systems and software within our clients' organisations. You will be collaborating with various stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables, as well as coordinating all project activities to ensure successful execution.

You will be working closely with finance, IT, and other relevant client departments to optimize financial systems and drive process improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and success criteria.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinate the implementation of financial software and systems.
  • Conduct user training and provide ongoing support.
  • Identify opportunities to optimise financial processes through system enhancements.
  • Maintain project documentation and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Conduct quality assurance testing and troubleshoot system-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and implement security measures.
  • Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers.

Skills/ Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
  • Proven experience in financial systems management and project coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of financial processes and software (e.g., ERP systems).
  • Excellent project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with cross-functional departments.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
  • Experience with Oracle NetSuite, Oracle Fusion ERP, or Oracle Enterprise Performance Management. (Desired)
