Our prestigious client, a leading PLC housing developer with an exceptional reputation in the South East, is seeking an outstanding Strategic Land Manager to drive their land acquisition and development strategy.
Role Specification
The successful candidate will be a dynamic professional responsible for identifying, evaluating, and securing strategic land opportunities across Surrey and the surrounding regions. This is a pivotal role that requires a sophisticated understanding of land promotion, planning regulations, and strategic development potential.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic land management will involve comprehensive market research, site feasibility assessments, and building robust relationships with landowners, local authorities, and key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will excel at preparing and submitting strategic planning applications, conducting detailed site due diligence, and negotiating complex land promotion agreements.
Professional Requirements
We are looking for an experienced land professional with a minimum of five years' experience in strategic land promotion. A degree in Land Management, Planning, or Real Estate is essential, complemented by an in-depth understanding of the UK planning system and local development frameworks. Exceptional negotiation skills, proficiency in GIS software, and a valid driving license are critical for success in this role.
Exceptional Compensation Package
The role offers a highly competitive salary ranging from 55,000 to 70,000 per annum, accompanied by an attractive benefits suite including a company car or car allowance, performance-related bonus, comprehensive pension scheme, and private healthcare.
