Day-to-day of the role:

Provide administrative support to the Dispute Resolution Partner.
Manage file administration including opening, closing, storing, and retrieving documents as per firm procedures.
Accurately input and manage data within the practice management system.
Draft correspondence and legal documents using dictation tools.
Handle diary management for self and colleagues, ensuring key dates and follow-ups are tracked.
Lead a secretarial support team of 5, ensuring high-quality support is consistently delivered to solicitors and the broader team.
Coordinate secretarial resources effectively to manage absences, peak workload periods, and planning for future needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within Dispute Resolution or Civil Litigation.
Some management experience, capable of leading a small team.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and proficiency in managing multiple tasks.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
