Legal Support Team Leader

Day-to-day of the role:
- Provide administrative support to the Dispute Resolution Partner.
- Manage file administration including opening, closing, storing, and retrieving documents as per firm procedures.
- Accurately input and manage data within the practice management system.
- Draft correspondence and legal documents using dictation tools.
- Handle diary management for self and colleagues, ensuring key dates and follow-ups are tracked.
- Lead a secretarial support team of 5, ensuring high-quality support is consistently delivered to solicitors and the broader team.
- Coordinate secretarial resources effectively to manage absences, peak workload periods, and planning for future needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within Dispute Resolution or Civil Litigation.
- Some management experience, capable of leading a small team.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in managing multiple tasks.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
