Role Overview: As a Conveyancing Paralegal, you will play a key role in assisting the conveyancing team with a wide range of residential property transactions. The successful candidate will be expected to manage their own caseload under supervision, ensuring all conveyancing matters are handled efficiently and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting solicitors with residential property transactions from instruction through to completion.
  • Preparing and drafting legal documents, including contracts, transfer deeds, and mortgage documents.
  • Conducting property searches, liaising with clients, estate agents, and other parties involved in the conveyancing process.
  • Managing client files, ensuring all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and filed appropriately.
  • Providing clients with regular updates and maintaining excellent communication throughout the process.
  • Conducting due diligence, including title checks and identifying any potential legal issues.
  • Supporting the team with administrative tasks as required.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Conveyancing Paralegal, with a strong understanding of the residential conveyancing process.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
  • Proficiency in using legal case management systems and Microsoft Office.
  • A strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
  • A legal qualification such as a Law degree, CILEx, or LPC is desirable but not essential.
