To continue growing, they are seeking an experienced Operations Director to join a dynamic, forward-thinking and focused team at their offices based in the Hampshire / Surrey area.

Applicants should have senior management experience in a busy, fast-paced and changing building products manufacturing business of 10m plus turnover.

This role requires outstanding organisational, communication, and leadership skills and an ability to develop innovative solutions to complex problems.

The Operations Director will be a core member of the executive team reporting to The Board and will be central to discussions on strategy and the development of long-term plans.

Objectives include:

  • Collaborate with senior managers in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plans.
  • Maximise efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration.
  • Set strategic goals for operational efficiency and increased productivity.
  • Work with key stakeholders in the development of financial and budgetary plans.
  • Analyse current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement where necessary.

You will have masterful organisational, communication, and leadership skills, backed by previous professional success. As well as superior knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles, including finance, customer service, production, and employee management.

The ability to streamline or implement structures and roles that boost speed and efficiency while supporting rapidly shifting business demands will be crucial as well as examples of embedding lean manufacturing.
