Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join their busy workshop in Guildford.

Role Overview:
As a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician, in Guildford, you will be responsible for accurately diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicles. You will utilise your technical expertise and advanced diagnostic skills to identify and rectify complex vehicle faults efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilise diagnostic equipment and software to accurately identify vehicle faults
- Perform advanced diagnostics on engine management systems, ABS, and other electronic systems
- Repair and maintain a variety of light commercial vehicles
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts used
- Communicate effectively with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised work area
Qualifications and Experience Needed:
- Level 3 NVQ/IMI in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- At least 2 years' experience as a Diagnostic Technician or a Mechanic with strong diagnostic skills in the Automotive Industry
- Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Full UK driving license
