Logistics CoordinatorGuildford£30,000 - £32,000Permanent ARM are currently recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator on a permanent basis. As Logistics Coordinator you will be required to Manage and coordinate the transportation of goods via airfreight and ocean freight, ensuring timely delivery, compliance with regulations, and efficient customs clearance.The Role:* Manage the end-to-end import and export processes, including booking cargo space, arranging pickups, and coordinating delivery schedules* Prepare and submit customer quotations and proposals within agreed timeframe. * Track success/failure rate of quotes, reporting back to management* Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates on shipment status, resolving issues, and addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly and professionally. * Liaise with airlines, freight forwarders, and other transportation providers to negotiate rates, track shipments, and resolve any transportation-related issues* Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with airfreight shipments, such as delays, damages, or customs disputes, by implementing appropriate measures and contingency plansRequirements: * Strong air export experience* Able to cope and accustomed to working under pressure to meet fixed deadlines* Must be able to build and develop strong relationships with customers* Excellent written and verbal communication with an eye for detail* Enthusiastic, flexible and self-motivated team player with excellent time management skills.This vacancy is being advertised by Advanced Resource Managers.
