Centrally located Guildford Insurance specialists require a Finance Assistant to join their friend team, in a varied role with comprehensive on-the-job training, study support options, and a comprehensive benefits package.

This Finance Assistant role is based in a sociable, primarily office-based team and is an ideal role for someone seeking to progress their career in accounts or utilise their experience in a successful company with a strong team ethos.

In the role of Finance Assistant, you will be part of the accounts team and report to the Finance Manager. Duties will include:

Reconciling bank accounts following FCA regulations
Input and reconciling of payables and receivables
Accurately processing of income into the accounts system
Supporting the production of monthly management accounts
Maintaining daily cashflow reports
Supporting Year End Audit
Ad hoc reporting and finance administration duties requested by the Finance Manager

It is expected the successful Finance Assistant, will be able to offer:

At least 12 months experience in a finance assistant or accounts assistant role
Experience in accurate input of financial data
Experience of using Sage and Excel
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
