My client who is a leader in the renewable energy sector, is seeking a dynamic Financial Coordinator to join our accounts team. This role is integral to maintaining accurate financial records and contributing to the efficiency of our financial operations.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Maintain accurate purchase and supplier ledger accounting records.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure timely and accurate supplier payments by checking purchase invoices against delivery notes and addressing any queries.
  • Manage accounting accruals, reporting, and reconciliations.
  • Verify sales invoices for the month, ensuring quantities match values and relevance.
  • Facilitate the prompt flow of key supplier information and receipt of invoices.
  • Create spreadsheets to capture validated information for each product.
  • Actively participate in monthly stocktaking and maintain accurate stock level records.
  • Collaborate with departments to review data, validate information, and raise concerns within the accounts team.
  • Attend monthly account meetings with final numbers for scrutiny and sign-off.
  • Undertake additional financial tasks as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong data processing skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience in Management Accounting and a good understanding of Double Entry.
  • Proficiency with the Xero accounting package.
  • Excellent team player with a proactive attitude.
  • Good knowledge of Excel.
  • Effective communication and reconciliation skills.
  • Personal transport is essential due to limited public transport access to the office.
