Job Title: Vehicle Technician (premium brand)
Location: Guildford
Salary: £28,000 - £40,000 (See salary bandings below)
Hours: Monday to Friday - NO WEEKENDS - 40 hours per week
We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our client’s busy workshop in the Guildford area. Our client is a privately owned dealer group representing iconic premium brands, with sites in Surrey and West Sussex.

As a technician you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality maintenance and repair services for premium brand vehicles.

Responsibilities for Vehicle Technician:
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and technical issues on vehicles.
- Diagnose and carry out repairs effectively and efficiently within manufacturers’ servicing and repair times.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles according to manufacturer standards
- Advise and report on vehicle and parts faults and servicing requirements noticed while working on vehicles, including future servicing repair requirements
- Look for ways to identify future customer costs savings by recommending preventative maintenance and appropriate vehicle expenditure
What We're Looking For:
- Level 3 NVQ in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).
- City & Guilds qualification or other adequate qualifications.
- Manufacturer Senior Technician qualification or equivalent from prestigious retailer
- Experience in the diagnosis, servicing, maintenance, and repair of motor vehicles
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a collaborative team
