Gisborough Hall are looking for an experienced, passionate and professional chef to join the Gisborough Hall team as a Chef de Partie, on a full time (40 hours per week) basis.

Standard hours of work will be on a rota basis, based on 4 days out of 7 (4 x 10 hour shifts). Shifts can include, weekends, early, late, bank holidays and splits.

Flexibility in this role is essential.

This role will require you to be highly competent in running a section within the Kitchen, helping to develop and deliver our food offerings in Chaloners Restaurant, De Brus Bar & Grill, along with our other food operations.

The role:

To ensure that food preparation and quality is of the highest possible standard with a view to enhancing guest experience and repeat business.

Fully aware of all health and safety requirements in the kitchen.

Knowledge of most areas within the kitchen cover in these areas may be required in busy periods/holiday cover.

Preparing a wide range of interesting dishes will give you the perfect opportunity to capitalise on your culinary expertise and organisational flair using locally sourced seasonal ingredients.

You will be responsible for the preparation and cooking of food to the highest standards, whilst maintaining a clean, safe and tidy work environment at all times.

Desirable experience of working in a rosette level kitchen.

Passionate about food and high levels of service

Positive, proven track record of working in a fast paced kitchen environment

Committed and highly organised

Ability to work at pace with a keen eye for detail.

This role will be recruited on a permanent basis, following the successful completion of a three-month probationary period.
