Our client, a well-established and reputable Civil Engineering Main Contractor with an annual turnover of £100 million, is seeking to recruit a General Foreman to join their civil engineering team on a permanent basis. This role will involve working on power projects across various locations in the East of Scotland.
Responsibilities:
As the General Foreman, you will be responsible for managing all site operations, ensuring that high-quality work is delivered at all times. You will collaborate with contractors, sub-contractors, and suppliers to ensure the smooth execution of projects.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience managing all operational activities on-site.
- Competence in maintaining accurate site diaries.
- A strong track record of delivering health & safety and quality procedures.
- Previous experience working with a civil engineering contractor.
- Experience working on Scottish Power projects (essential).
- Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Strong communication skills for liaising effectively with on-site staff, sub-contractors, and management.
