First Achieve's Engineering Division is seeking a CNC Machinist for an international oil and gas company in Edinburgh.
The position offers a permanent role with a basic pay rate of £20 per hour and a 37-hour work week.
Candidates will work a 2-week rotational shift pattern, including shifts from 6:30am to 3pm and 8:30pm to 6:30am Monday to Thursday, and 6:30am to 12pm on Fridays.
Required qualifications include being a time-served engineer with an apprenticeship, experience in Mazak Integrex programming/operation, and reliable transport.

Job description

First Achieve's Engineering Division have an excellent opportunity for a CNC Machinist to join an international oil and gas company in the Edinburgh region.

What's on Offer:

A straight to permanent role.
A £20/hr basic rate.
A 37hr work week.
2 week rotational shift pattern
Shifts consist of:
- 6:30am to 3pm and 8:30pm to 6:30am Mon to Thurs
- 6:30am to 12pm Fri
- First 4hrs on a Saturday is 1.5X, followed by 2x thereafter into Sunday

This role will require you to follow engineering specs and produce components to industrial standards as well as continually communicate with the shop floor supervisor.

Essential skills, experience and knowledge:

The successful candidate must:

Be a time served engineer with an apprenticeship and the certifications to qualify apprenticeship
Prior experience in Mazak Integrex programming/operation
Have their own reliable transport
