We are seeking a talented Electronics Design Engineer with a strong background in electronics and mechanics to join our innovative team. You will play a crucial role in system design, integration, and reliability for our advanced electromechanical products used in material testing and food & beverage industries.

This position offers the opportunity to work with complex systems in precision measurements, allowing you to apply your expertise across multiple engineering disciplines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, test, and assemble electronics and system integrations for precision instruments
  • Identify and implement product improvements to enhance reliability, efficiency, and reduce costs
  • Develop automated test systems to monitor instrument performance
  • Troubleshoot hardware and electronic faults in production units and new products
  • Create technical documentation including requirements specifications, PCB schematics, test reports, and engineering change notes
  • Contribute to new product development as part of our R&D/Engineering team
  • Support production improvements through the Engineering Change Note process
Qualifications
  • Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with 3-5 years' relevant experience
  • Proven experience with electrical/electronic instrumentation and troubleshooting
  • Strong background in digital and analogue electronics design using KiCAD
  • Experience with embedded electronics (I2C, SPI, MCU)
  • Knowledge of industrial design and mechanical manufacturing environments
  • Hands-on approach with excellent practical skills
  • EMC/LVD testing experience for CE marking (beneficial)
  • German language skills (advantageous)
Technical Skills
  • Component-level electronics troubleshooting (wiring, fuses, switches, heaters, motors)
  • PCB design and manufacturing support
  • Test instrumentation development and automation
  • Experience with version control systems (preferably Git)
  • Experience with material testing or gas processing systems (desirable)
Personal Attributes
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical mindset
  • Methodical approach with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proactive with good energy and ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Comfortable with occasional travel to Germany or Netherlands
