Overview:

We're seeking a dedicated and experienced Pension and Investment Administrator & Researcher to join a reputable Chartered Financial Planning firm in Hailsham. This role will involve providing essential administrative support and conducting research to assist our financial planning team in delivering exceptional client service.

Responsibilities:

  • Pension Administration:
    • Process pension transfers, switches, and retirements.
    • Update client records and maintain accurate pension information.
    • Prepare and submit pension-related paperwork to providers.
    • Respond to client inquiries and provide guidance on pension options.
  • Investment Administration:
    • Manage investment portfolios, including rebalancing and fund switching.
    • Prepare investment reports and performance analysis.
    • Assist with the onboarding of new investment clients.
    • Monitor investment markets and identify potential opportunities.
  • Research:
    • Conduct research on investment products, market trends, and regulatory changes.
    • Prepare research reports and presentations to support the financial planning team.
    • Assist with the development of investment strategies.
  • Client Service:
    • Provide excellent customer service to clients, ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
    • Respond to client inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in pension and investment administration.
  • Strong understanding of pension and investment products, regulations, and tax implications.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
  • A Level 4 qualification in financial services (or equivalent) is preferred but not essential.
