Salary/Rate: £45,000-£55,000/annum + Private Health Insurance
Location: Hailsham, East SussexIf you have experience leading multi-discipline R&D projects in Advanced Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Thermofluids, Fluid Mechanics, Materials Engineering, Metallurgy, Additive Manufacturing, Computational Modelling, Controls and Instrumentation, and Vacuum Induction Melting, we have a unique opportunity for you.The company designs and manufactures specialist equipment for the Advanced Materials industry, selling globally. Our R&D programs, in partnership with leading industry and academic institutions, are expanding.Reporting to the Director of Research and Technology, this role involves leading R&D projects with our in-house teams.Job Specifications & Qualifications:
- Relevant degree required

- Collaboration with partners and academic research activities
- Involves office and workshop/lab assignments
- Representing the company at conferences and exhibitions
- Providing support to other business functions

Essentials:
- Full UK Driving Licence
- 37.5 hour working week
- Holiday entitlement: Year 1 = 22 days / Year 2 onwards = 25 days (Plus, Bank holidays)
- Job Type: Permanent
- Start Date: Immediate
Note: This role requires occasional UK travel and short overseas visits and cannot be fulfilled remotely.
