Logistics Administrator

Our client is seekinga detail-oriented and proactiveLogistics Administration Assistantto support both the Planning and Accounts teams.

The ideal candidate will assist with the daily administrative tasks to ensure smooth logistics operations, data accuracy, and efficient coordination between departments.

This part-time role is ideal for someone looking to contribute to a fast-paced environment while balancing a flexible schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build quotes for clients using a set pricing structure and move into the planning system.
  • Assist thePlanning Teamin preparing schedules, updating transportation records, and coordinating with drivers.
  • Perform general administrative duties including filing, document management, and responding to internal and external queries.
  • Communicate with clients and suppliers via email or phone to address inquiries or provide updates.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in logistics and accounting software systems.
  • Collaborate with transport and operations teams to ensure data consistency and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Perform other related duties as required to support the smooth operation.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail in all tasks.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and comfortable with using logistics or accounting software (training will be provided).
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise work efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience in a logistics or administrative role is an advantage.
