Due to expansion, Next Generation are currently recruiting for a Production Planning Manager to work with a leading global manufacturer based near Halesowen. As the Production Planning Manager, you will be responsible for creating, managing and maintaining the production scheduling process to ensure customer requirements are met whilst also being responsible for progress chasing.

The following shifts are available for the Production Planning Manager:

  • Monday - Friday (Days)

What’s on offer for the Production Planning Manager:

  • Competitive salary up to £45,000 p.a.

Duties of the Production Planning Manager:

  • Attending SQCDP meetings
  • Liaising with cross-functional departments (Sales & Forge)
  • Producing and updating monthly plans of all open orders.
  • Issue priority lists to all departments
  • Up-keeping and maintaining ERP system
  • Schedules for key customer accounts
  • Provide monthly reports for the SLT
  • KPI reporting
  • Training employees in all aspects of production planning.

The successful candidate for the Production Planning Managers position will have the following experience:

  • 3 - 5 years experience working as a Production Manager / Production Planning Manager (Essential)
  • Experience within forging/heavy industry (Desirable)
  • Experienced in using ERP/MRP systems (Essential)
  • Proven ability to create production plans (Essential)
  • Excellent attention to detail (Essential)
