Sheridan Maine is currently working with a well-established business based in Halesowen that is seeking a Finance Assistant to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to develop their career within a supportive and dynamic environment.Responsibilities of the Finance Assistant include:

Processing invoices and assisting with accounts payable and receivable functions.
Performing bank reconciliations and supporting financial reporting.
Assisting with month-end and year-end accounting processes.
Communicating with internal departments and external stakeholders regarding financial matters.
Providing general administrative support to the finance team.
Processing weekly timesheets accurately.

The successful Finance Assistant will require:

Previous experience in a finance or accounts role, or currently studying towards AAT/ACCA/CIMA.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
