We are currently seeking a talented and passionate School Chef to lead our kitchen operations.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Plan, prepare, and cook a variety of nutritious meals for students and staff, ensuring dietary needs are met.
• Manage kitchen operations including ordering supplies, inventory management, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
• Develop and implement diverse menus that cater to the dietary requirements of our students.
• Supervise and train kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation and service.
• Collaborate with school staff on healthy eating initiatives and food education programs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a chef, ideally within a school or similar institutional setting.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Skilled in creating nutritious and appealing meals for diverse dietary needs.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of leading a team.
• Commitment to promoting healthy eating and nutrition among students.
