They are currently looking to expand and are seeking and experienced Senior Accountant in their Halifax office. This is also an ideal role for a candidate looking to expand their knowledge into tax, and could be a split role with audit for a candidate with audit experience. - Preparation of year-end accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients including Ltd companies, partnerships, sole-traders and charities
- Preparation of supporting management accounts, financial statements, and draft Corporation Tax returns
- Taking responsibility for clients VAT and bookkeeping, and supervising others on the processing
- Advising clients on their accounts and financial processes, including their accounting software

- At least 3 year's experience in an accountancy practice environment
- Qualified or part-qualified ACCA/ACA (study support available to complete last levels/exams of qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to client service
- Able to take initiative to support clients and manage deadlines with ease
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- High level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism
