SQL Reporting Specialist - Mosaic Project

We are looking for a SQL Reporting Specialist to lead the technical delivery of the Reporting Strategy for the Mosaic Project. This role is ideal for a candidate with extensive experience in SQL Server tools and a deep understanding of database management and reporting systems. The successful applicant will be instrumental in enhancing data-driven decision-making processes.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Lead the design and development of SQL database architectures, focusing on automation and integration with various data sources.
- Implement advanced SQL techniques to transform, extract, manipulate, and join data for analytics and business intelligence purposes.
- Develop and maintain automated data flows, replacing manual processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Produce and optimise comprehensive data models across multiple subject areas and reverse-engineer data models from operational systems.
- Design and maintain metadata repositories to support data integrity and accessibility.
- Utilise SSRS and Power BI to create and manage advanced reporting solutions.
- Conduct extensive testing to ensure the reliability and accuracy of data reports.
- Mentor and train permanent team members on the Mosaic case management system and its reporting tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server tools, including SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- Proficiency in SQL standards such as T-SQL and PL/SQL.
- Desirable experience with Microsoft Azure Synapse and/or Data Factory.
- Advanced SQL skills for data manipulation and extraction from diverse sources.
- Experience in database design, development, and maintenance within major software platforms like Liquidlogic LCS/EHM, Servelec Synergy/Mosaic, SAP, ERP, OLM CareFirst.
- Strong knowledge of SSRS and Power BI for developing reporting solutions.
- Proven ability to mentor others and deliver training on data reporting and management.
- Experience in managing data dictionaries and conducting thorough testing phases.
