Cogent Staffing are recruiting on behalf of our Halifax based client for a dedicated and motivated HR Support Administrator to join their dynamic team on a temporary to permanent basis.
Shift/salary:
- Monday to Friday
- Office hours
- Earlier finish Fridays
- Temporary to permanent opportunity
- £24,000 - £25,000 salary (in order to be considered for the higher salary you must have spent time previously in a similar role minimum 2 years

The role:
- Maintain and update employee records in the HR database.
- Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
- Support onboarding processes for new hires, including orientation and paperwork.
- Prepare HR reports and assist with data analysis.
- Coordinate training sessions and employee development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
The candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- Previous experience in an HR or administrative role is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
