Job Title: MFL (Spanish & French) Teacher

Location: Halifax

Phase of Education: Secondary Mainstream

Pay: £170-210/day

Working Hours: 08:00 - 15:30 Wednesday - Friday

Start Date: April 2025 (after Easter)

Are you a qualified MFL Teacher? Are you a strong-willed and confident ECT who has a record of 'Good' or better classroom practice and an understanding of the value of high expectations?

We are working with a supportive and welcoming school in Halifax who are seeking a MFL Teacher to start after Easter in April 2025.

About the role

You will be enrolled onto a fantastic induction programme and benefit from the dynamic leadership of the SLT who are known for driving the school’s expectations and developments and giving you excellent career development.

This school has a super MFL department staffed by an innovative and experienced team. They have a shared ethos within the department that has enabled them to achieve excellent examination results. They are continually striving to improve, and endeavour to ensure that every student is provided with an outstanding learning environment that allows them to achieve their best.

This is a full-time, long-term role for a qualified teacher who can fully commit to joining a school with a clear vision and strong ethos.

About you

  • A qualified teacher with a formal teaching qualification

  • Confident teaching MFL subject at Key Stage 3 and 4 to a range of abilities

  • A passion for your subject and education in general

  • A desire to work as a team with the rest of the department and the school
