HSE Manager
Location: HalifaxSalary: £60,000 - £75,000 (depending on qualifications and experience)Bonus Scheme: Participation in a performance-based bonus scheme (Profit Before Tax)

Job Introduction:An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HSE Manager to join our team due to retirement. This role is ideal for a professional with extensive expertise in the construction industry who is ready to take on a leadership role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the Managing Director for all HSE-related matters.
- Prepare and review safe systems of work, including risk assessments for both production facilities and on-site operations, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct HSE audits, surveillance inspections, and lead accident, incident, and near-miss investigations.
- Manage and lead the pre-qualification process with Achilles, Construction Line, and various customer pre-qualification databases.
- Oversee the pre-qualification and auditing of subcontractors and suppliers.
- Ensure employee training and maintain accurate health and safety records.
Required Skills/Experience:
- A minimum of IOSH (CMIOSH preferred).
- At least 10 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental management.
- Strong understanding of HSE practices within the construction industry.
Working Hours:
- Basic: 37.5 hours per week.
