~ Standalone HR Manager~ Highly regarded Manufacturing business~ 100% onsite role in Halifax, West Yorkshire~ Reporting directly to CEO~ Salary circa. £40,000 to £45,000 p.a. (negotiable)We are delighted to be assisting a very well established manufacturing business, based in Halifax, with their search for a HR Manager to support their onsite team of circa. 130 staff members.The business is seeing real success, and so needs somebody who is confident multi-tasking and working at pace.Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing ER casework including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, absence and redundancy
  • Advise and lead divisional managers on process and HR best practice
  • Develop HR policy and procedures to drive performance and mitigate disputes
  • Work with appropriate parties on reward strategy, and provide first line advise on current benefits and rewards to all parties
  • Provide advice on recruitment and selection strategies, and support the recruitment process
  • Carry out new starter inductions, and facilitate first rate onboarding experiences
  • Drive alignment between HR strategy and business goals
  • Continuously monitor and review HR policies, and implement changes where necessary
  • Support change management processes
  • Working with 3rd Party legal advisors to ensure compliance to legislation

In order to be successful in this role, you will need:

  • CIPD qualified - Level 5 minimum working towards or achieved Level 7
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly organised, accurate and conscientious
  • Collaborative in approach, but confident in your own convictions
  • People-centric approach, instilling trust and confidence in others
  • Manufacturing/Warehousing experience would be preferred, but isn't essential
