Our client is seeking a skilled Bench Hand Joiner to join their team at their Halifax, West Yorkshire workshop. As a leading manufacturer of bespoke furniture, they collaborate with top interior designers to craft unique pieces for museums, luxury apartments, and prestigious hotels.

In this role, you'll be at the heart of the workshop, transforming designs and technical drawings into stunning, one-of-a-kind pieces. Your hands-on experience in manufacturing and assembly will help ensure every item meets our client's exacting quality standards. Working alongside a team of experienced joiners, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional craftsmanship to customers.

Are you the right person for the job?

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience.
  • Work closely with production management as a lead Joiner and occasion change hand on
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and woodworking principles.
  • Competency in operating Woodworking Machinery.
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality control.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Must have own hand tools
  • Driving license preferred but not essential
  • CSCS Card useful but not essential
