Project Manager

About your role:Are you an experienced Project or Programme Manager with a passion for delivering complex, large-scale transformation and a knack for strategic planning? Join our clients team, where your skills will shape meaningful change across our organisation.

What you'll do:

  • Programme & Project Set Up/Closure:Play a critical role in initiating and closing programmes by feeding into business studies and cases. Ensure alignment with strategic goals, define measurable benefits, and track value post-implementation. Drive seamless transitions through well-planned business implementation and change handovers.
  • Governance & Reporting:Work in close collaboration with Programme Leads to deliver tailored status updates for stakeholders at all levels. Adhere to CMT standards while proactively managing risks and contingency plans.
  • Delivery & Execution:Lead the end-to-end delivery of projects through all lifecycle stages. Define clear delivery plans, gain team buy-in, and ensure high-quality execution using established methodologies.
  • Strategic Planning & Financial Control:Own and manage comprehensive project plans and budgets. Monitor progress against milestones, address delays or overspend swiftly, and adapt plans to stay on track.
  • Resource Management:Oversee resource planning and tracking including roles, responsibilities, and FTE profiles. Ensure the right people are in place at the right time to support delivery excellence.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:Identify and engage a wide range of stakeholders-including those at Grade G level and above-to shape and influence outcomes. Develop targeted communication strategies to foster collaboration and buy-in.
  • Team Leadership & Development:Coach and lead your project teams to perform at their best. Foster a culture of growth, ownership, and innovation.
  • Risk & Compliance Oversight:Ensure proactive risk identification and compliance adherence, responding dynamically to evolving project landscapes.
  • Values in Action:Be a cultural ambassador, promoting the clients' values and encouraging a positive, inclusive environment.
