Band 6 Occupational Therapist
Full-Time | Permanent | Halifax
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum (DOE)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (30-minute break)

Intrepid Global is seeking an experienced and passionate Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join a leading rehabilitation service dedicated to supporting individuals with complex mental health needs and promoting recovery.

About the Role:

As a Band 6 Occupational Therapist, you will:

Deliver high-quality OT interventions to support recovery and independence.
Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop personalised care plans.
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify strengths and challenges in self-care, productivity, and leisure.
Provide group and one-to-one interventions that enhance daily living skills and encourage social inclusion.
Lead the development of OT pathways and contribute to service-wide improvements.
Occasionally travel to support multisite services.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a varied caseload under the guidance of the Lead Occupational Therapist.
Develop, implement, and review personalised therapy goals with service users.
Promote community engagement and social participation through meaningful activities.
Mentor support staff and provide fieldwork placements for OT students.

What You’ll Need:

A recognised Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy.
HCPC registration.
At least 3 years of post-graduate experience, including a minimum of 2 years in mental health.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users and colleagues.
