Band 6 Occupational Therapist
Full-Time | Permanent | Halifax
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum (DOE)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (30-minute break)

Intrepid Global is seeking an experienced and passionate Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join a leading rehabilitation service dedicated to supporting individuals with complex mental health needs and promoting recovery.

About the Role:

As a Band 6 Occupational Therapist, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality OT interventions to support recovery and independence.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop personalised care plans.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify strengths and challenges in self-care, productivity, and leisure.
  • Provide group and one-to-one interventions that enhance daily living skills and encourage social inclusion.
  • Lead the development of OT pathways and contribute to service-wide improvements.
  • Occasionally travel to support multisite services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a varied caseload under the guidance of the Lead Occupational Therapist.
  • Develop, implement, and review personalised therapy goals with service users.
  • Promote community engagement and social participation through meaningful activities.
  • Mentor support staff and provide fieldwork placements for OT students.

What You’ll Need:

  • A recognised Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy.
