  • The role requires a time-served apprentice to graduate level qualification in Quality/Manufacturing, with experience in quality tools and inspection techniques.

Quality Inspector / Quality Technician to join a multinational leading engineering manufacturer to work a 4 day week Day of compressed hours Monday - Thursday or Tuesday - Friday. Offering an enhanced salary and huge package!

The Quality Inspector will undertake all dimensional inspection using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs). as a Quality Technician you will have PCN Level 1 or ideally PCN level 2 in Penetrant Testing (PT) . Any experience or exposure of PCN Level 2 in Magnetic Testing (MT) and/or Ultrasonic Testing (UT) of Forgings is highly desirable - but training within this standard will be provided.

Skills Required:

  • Carry out dimensional and visual inspection of components and assemblies

  • Assist in the general operation of the Quality Control department

  • Provide technical assistance and problem resolution on customer, auditors and 3rd party internal quality control issues

  • Time-served apprentice to graduate level qualification with a Quality / Manufacturing background

  • Experience in the use of Quality Tools

  • Experienced user of CMMs, mechanical & electrical inspection measuring

  • Knowledge of alloys, casting, NDT, welding and coating processes would be advantageous equipment, hardness testing and PMI.
