The role of the Retrofit Assessor will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient completion of activities related to retrofit projects and scheme delivery, from initial site survey, technical and EPC surveys, Retrofit Assessment surveys and follow-up post works surveys. With a site based focus (and a need for a full and clean UK driving license) you will be an on-site representative, managing engagement with householders on a regular basis.

Accountabilities and responsibilities

  • Responsible for ensuring householders are kept up to date with appropriate information at survey stage of a job
  • Providing energy efficiency advice to householders where required.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction particularly when completing post-work surveys.
  • Contribute to a monthly report detailing customer feedback.
  • Undertake accurate technical property surveys as required, providing robust measurements and documentation.
  • Prepare energy performance certificates, where required.
  • Prepare a retrofit assessment report for the property, where required.
  • Provide regular updates on project performance against KPIs and monthly reporting.
  • Contribute to the management of cost-effective delivery of all project activity.
  • Ensure project surveys are completed on time, within budget and to the necessary quality standard.

Key knowledge and skills

  • Domestic Energy Assessment qualification
  • PAS2035 Retrofit Assessment qualification
  • Full driving license
  • Competent with PAS and EPC surveying software and apps

This is a full-time, permanent role which is predominantly site based with 1 day per week in the office to complete reports and paperwork.
