An automotive component manufacturer with multiple sites across Europe require a Maintenance Engineer to take a proactive approach in maintaining systems. The ideal candidate will have a background in a 1st tier automotive environment and have the ability to multi-task.


Commutable from: Redditch, Coventry, Warwick, Stratford upon Avon, Leamington Spa, Worcester, Kidderminster, and Stourbridge

Rate plus shift allowance: 56,845 p.a.

Suitable for: Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Team Member, and Senior Maintenance Engineer


The Role

Reporting into the Maintenance Manager, you will have the following duties:

-To maintain the electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems on the machinery within the site
-To assist in implementing and maintaining proactive maintenance for TPM and PPM.
-To identify root issues and reduce downtime.
-Fault find and repair on electrical based and mechanical faults on hydraulics and pneumatics
-To replace and repair parts on all machines
-To implement continuous improvement into daily activities to assist cost effectiveness
-Shift work and flexibility is essential

The Person

To have experience in a 1st tier automotive background is essential and you will have the following skills and qualifications:

-City & Guilds Level 3 or BTEC Level 3 in Electrical is desired
-Has a wide experience in PLC fault finding and is electrically biased
-Must be flexible to work on 4 on 4 off, 2 days and 2 nights.
-Experienced in Robotics
-Mechanical, electrical, electronic, software background with knowledge of working in other disciplines
