A school in Birmingham areseeking a passionate and dynamic French Teacher to join our vibrant and dedicated language department. We are looking for an enthusiastic educator who can inspire our students to appreciate the French language and culture while helping them develop their language skills.
About the Role:
As a French Teacher, you will:
- Teach French across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with potential to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that encourage students to develop their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel motivated to learn
- Differentiate your teaching to meet the diverse needs of students at different levels of proficiency
- Contribute to the development and delivery of the modern foreign languages curriculum
- Support extracurricular activities such as language clubs, trips, or cultural events
About You:
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Has a strong command of the French language and a passion for sharing this with students
- Is experienced in teaching French at the secondary school level (Key Stage 3 and 4, ideally with some experience at Key Stage 5)
- Is creative and resourceful, with the ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities
- Has excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents
- Demonstrates a commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
