Job Title: History Teacher

Location: Huddersfield

Phase of Education: Secondary Mainstream

Pay: £180-210/day

Working Hours: 08:00 - 15:30

Engage Education are pleased to be hiring for a History Teacher for a position in one of our secondary schools in Huddersfield.

Are you a qualified History Teacher? Are you a strong-willed and confident History ECT who has a record of 'Good' or better classroom practice and an understanding of the value of high expectations?

We are working with a supportive and welcoming school in Huddersfield who are seeking a History Teacher to start ASAP.

About the role

You will be enrolled onto a fantastic induction programme and benefit from the dynamic leadership of the SLT who are known for driving the school’s expectations and developments and giving you excellent career development.

This school has a super humanities department staffed by an innovative and experienced team. They have a shared ethos within the department that has enabled them to achieve excellent examination results. They are continually striving to improve, and endeavour to ensure that every student is provided with an outstanding learning environment that allows them to achieve their best.

This is a full-time, long-term role for a qualified teacher who can fully commit to joining a school with a clear vision and strong ethos.

About you

  • A qualified teacher with a formal teaching qualification
  • Confident teaching History subject at Key Stage 3 and 4 to a range of abilities
  • A passion for your subject and education in general
  • A desire to work as a team with the rest of the department and the school
