Are you a Teaching Assistant looking for a role in a small school Primary School? Flourish Education is recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join an Ofsted-rated Good Primary School in Worcester. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to support the Year 6 Class Teacher in a small, friendly setting. This is a long-term, full-time position, starting immediately and continuing until the end of the academic year.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Provide whole class support and work with small groups of pupils.
- Assist the Class Teacher in delivering engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
- Support Key Stage 2 (KS2) pupils in their learning and development.
- Help manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a positive learning environment.
- Offer tailored support to students, adapting tasks to meet individual needs.
- Work closely with the school staff to foster a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience as a TA in a Primary School setting is essential.
- Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and experience in class-based support.
- Ability to support the Class Teacher in engaging and motivating pupils.
- Effective behaviour management skills.
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Experience working with Key Stage 2 (KS2) pupils.
