Procast is seeking an experienced and dynamic Site Manager to oversee a major external facade renovation project in Glasgow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all on-site operations for a large-scale external facade renovation project
- Coordinate and supervise multiple subcontractor teams
- Ensure project adherence to timeline, budget, and quality standards
- Implement and maintain strict health and safety protocols
- Liaise with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders
- Manage site logistics, including material deliveries and equipment usage
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks
- Prepare and submit detailed progress reports to senior management
Requirements:
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Site Manager on large construction projects
- Specific expertise in managing external facade renovations or similar large-scale building envelope projects
- Strong track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget
- In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, building regulations, and health and safety legislation
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office suite
- Relevant qualifications such as HNC/HND in Construction Management or equivalent
- SMSTS certification and first aid at work qualification
Desirable:
- Experience working on historic or listed buildings
- Knowledge of sustainable construction practices and materials
