Are you an Electrical Technician or similar looking for an exciting and varied days-based role within a well-established engineering company operating in the Rail sector who offer regular overtime and an early finish on a Friday?

This company are a leading provider of bespoke Engineering solutions to the rail industry, they have bene operating for 20+ years and seen continual growth to the point they have over 30 members of staff. They specialise in the safety, maintenance and modification of trains for some of the largest transportation companies in the UK, and are looking to develop their friendly team to help their continued growth.

On a day-to-day basis the role is divided into 3 main areas, these are maintenance of rolling stock- which involves weekly examinations- corrective maintenance and attending reactive / breakdowns for emergency technical support. Further to this you will also undertake general depot activities such as modifications to electrical sub-systems, building panels from detailed schematics and working with mechanical fitters and assist. This is a site based role where you will work within a team Monday-Thursday 8am-4pm and Friday 8pm-1pm with overtime available to increase your earnings.

The varied role would suit an Electrical Technician looking for a role in a growing company within the rail industry offering opportunities to develop your skills and overtime to increase your earnings.

The Role:

- Provide running maintenance / heavy maintenance and overhauls

- Undertake modification under guidance

- Carry out weekly examinations and corrective maintenance for rolling stock

- Attend breakdowns and provide emergency technical support

- Building panels from detailed schematics.

- Carry out installation, testing and maintenance on electrical control systems.

- Monday - Thursday 8am-4pm Friday - 8am-1pm 35hours a week

- Site based role

- Overtime to increase your earnings
