An opportunity has arisen for a proactive Health & Safety Advisor to join a leading FMCG company in the Engineering & Manufacturing department, based in Lanark.

Description
- Implementing and enforcing health and safety policies in the workplace.
- Conducting regular site inspections and risk assessments.
- Providing training and guidance to staff on health and safety procedures.
- Ensuring the company is in compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Investigating accidents or incidents and preparing reports.
- Working closely with the Engineering & Manufacturing department to identify possible hazards.
- Advising on various safety-related topics, including hazardous materials, fire safety, etc.
- Coordinating emergency procedures, mine rescues, firefighting and first aid crews.
Profile
A successful Health & Safety Advisor should have:
- Relevant qualifications in Health & Safety, such as NEBOSH.
- Experience working in a similar role within the FMCG/Manufacturing industry.
- Excellent knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices.
- Strong communication skills to effectively train and advise staff.
Job Offer
