Your new companyThis Harlow based manufacturing company is looking for a financial accountant to add to their already excellent finance team.Your new role* Accounts Payable management, including processing invoices & expense claims* Monthly Payroll submission & Pension returns.* Preparation of Government Statistics, VAT and PAYE* Fixed asset register management, including maintenance, budgeting, forecasting & reporting. * Maintain cashbook and perform daily cash management duties.* Month end Accruals, prepayments & Journals. Balance Sheet reconciliations. * Support year end audit and statutory accounts to ensure queries are answered quickly and accurately.* Identify and implement ad hoc projects for process improvements.* Deputise for the Finance Controller as required.* Perform other ad-hoc duties and reporting as needed.What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified accountant, preferably CIMA/ACCA or equivalent.* Good technical financial accounting skills and understanding of relevant accounting standards,* Excellent IT skills, including advanced Excel, and strong finance system skills. Microsoft BC and Power BI would be anadvantage but not essential.* Experience in a growing, performance orientated manufacturing industry
