We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented IT Assistant to join our team, supporting over 900 users across multiple offices and sites. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to develop their IT skills while providing essential first-line support and assisting with system maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1st line support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and software.
- Log and resolve IT support requests, escalating issues when necessary.
- Assist with PC builds, installations, and basic troubleshooting.
- Support IT team with hardware setups and system maintenance.
- Help manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions.
- Work with third-party providers to resolve hardware and network issues.
- Maintain system documentation and ensure daily backups are completed.
- Stay updated with new technologies to support IT improvements.
Skills & Experience:
- Some experience in IT support or a helpdesk role (6+ months preferred).
- Basic knowledge of Windows 10, Microsoft Office, and network troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn.
- Good communication skills and ability to assist non-technical users.
- An interest in developing expertise in IT infrastructure and support.
