Engineering and H&S Manager
Essex
Up to £85k plus package

The business are a global food manufacturer looking to grow their reach across the UK and are seeking an Engineering & H&S Manager to oversee and implement new processes to reach maximum production output.


Key Responsibilities
•    Oversee and manager maintenance of all site machinery and equipment.
•    Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to enhance equipment reliability.
•    Lead and train the maintenance team.
•    Manage the maintenance budget including any external contractors.
•    Manage inventory levels of critical spare parts and coordinate with procurement to ensure a good level of stock at all times.
•    Ensure all maintenance operations adhere to safety protocols, regulatory requirements and company policies, conducting regular safety inspections and audits

Experience Required
•    Experience managing a team of engineers and implementing new PPM’s and processes.
•    High process and equipment knowledge.
•    Up to date on health and safety certifications.
•    Food Manufacturing experience essential.
•    Exposure to a semi-automated/fully automated site.
