Are you an experienced corporate tax and reporting specialist seeking a new contract role with the opportunity to work for a global organisation?

We have partnered with a highly successful, international business based on the Essex/Herts border who are seeking to recruit a TAX/Reporting Specialist on a fixed term contract. (This could turn into a permanent role for the right person).

You will be reporting into the Group Head of Finance in an initial 12-month assignment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the preparation of European Corporate Tax Compliance and Statutory Accounts
  • Ensure that corporate tax returns, tax payments, and statutory accounts are accurate and submitted on time
  • Partner with the Finance Team to enhance processes and understanding of corporate tax, withholding taxes, and employment taxes, including PAYE Settlement Agreements.
  • Verify that corporate taxes and year-end local GAAP adjustments are properly recorded in SAP systems and integrated into group reporting under IFRS and secondary ledgers.
  • Serve as the primary contact for European Tax Authorities during Direct Tax audits
  • Collaborate with the Group Tax and Finance teams to ensure local GAAP and Direct Tax requirements are fully addressed
  • Contribute to finance projects and handle ad-hoc requests as needed.
