Prime Appointments is working with a growing engineering company on the outskirts of Harlow, seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join their team. This manufacturer is a leader in precision engineering, producing high-quality components for a range of industries.
We are looking for a CNC Operator with a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of CNC machining processes, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Responsibilities:
* Set up and operate Fixed Head CNC machines to manufacture precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
* Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure efficiency and reliability.
* Monitor machine output, make necessary adjustments, and troubleshoot any issues.
* Work collaboratively with the production team to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
* Inspect finished products to ensure they meet all required specifications.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Fixed Head CNC Machine Setter and Operator.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
* Strong knowledge of CNC programming, tooling, and machining processes.
* Capability to perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment.
* High attention to detail with a focus on quality control.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
