Call Centre Representative/Assistant
Location: Harlow, Essex
Salary: £28,000 basic
Hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Benefits: 22 days holiday + bank holidays, free onsite parking
Are you passionate about delivering excellent customer service? Do you have a great telephone manner and a can-do attitude? Our client, a trusted provider of quality used vans and vehicle services since 2003, is looking for a Call Centre Representative/Assistant to join their team!
About the Role: As a Call Centre Representative, you’ll be the first point of contact for our client's customers—both individual motorists and business clients. Working in a busy and dynamic car showroom, your duties will include handling incoming and outgoing customer calls, learning their needs, and recommending the best products, services, or solutions to suit them. Your goal will be to provide exceptional service and ensure each customer leaves satisfied.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer customer calls in a professional and timely manner
- Assist customers with vehicle sales inquiries and service needs
- Recommend the best products or services tailored to the customer’s requirements
- Maintain a friendly, positive, and helpful approach with all customers
- Handle both individual motorists and business clients
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in the automotive or car sales industry is highly desirable, but not essential
- A background in recruitment would also be beneficial
- Strong telephone communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly
- A positive, customer-first mindset with a desire to help people
- Can-do attitude and willingness to learn
